BOLD is led by an experienced team of clinicians, behavioural specialists, and social care professionals who share a commitment to improving quality of life for adults with complex needs.
With over 100 years of combined experience across learning disability nursing, mental health services, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), supported living, NHS leadership, governance, and specialist housing, our team brings a wealth of expertise to every aspect of service delivery.

John Doyle
Managing Director
Bringing over 18 years of experience developing and leading specialist services for adults with complex needs. Specialising in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), service development, staff training, and reducing restrictive practices, they remain actively involved in shaping BOLD’s person-centred and outcomes-focused approach.
Nikki Doyle
Director
Nikki brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across social care, treatment and assessment services, and continuing healthcare environments. Her experience supporting individuals with complex needs helps ensure BOLD delivers safe, high-quality, and person-centred support.
Tony Doyle
Director
Tony is a triple-trained nurse in General Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Learning Disability Nursing. He was one of the original contributors involved in the development of Positive Behavioural Management (PBM), a BILD-accredited training approach still recognised within learning disability services today. His extensive clinical experience continues to shape BOLD’s specialist approach to Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care, and reducing restrictive practices.
Daryl Quarry
Director
Bringing extensive experience across supported living, specialist housing, governance, and regulatory compliance. Daryl plays a key role in ensuring BOLD’s environments, systems, and operational frameworks support safe, high-quality care and positive outcomes for the people we support.
Nikki Doyle
Senior Clinical Lead
Bringing extensive experience across NHS services, continuing healthcare, treatment and assessment environments, and specialist social care. With a strong operational and clinical background, they play an important role in supporting service quality, clinical oversight, and positive outcomes for the individuals we support.
